Welcome to IPT287!

This section will meet in class the first and last days of class.  The rest of the semester, activities will be done online.  The menu to the right of this page has the weekly agendas with a list of the things that should be done for that week.  Below that is a link to the VoiceThread activities that will be done each week.

To participate in the blended learning section, you will need to have access to a webcam for recording your video reponses each week to the VoiceThread activity.

Any webcam with a built in microphone should work.  I have had a good experience using the IceCam2 (which costs about $25).  It works on both PC and Mac platforms, has a built in microphone, and doesn't require any software to be installed on your machine to work.  Another that I have heard works well is the Logitech Quickcam Connect (which costs about $30). This webcam has a built in microphone and is available at many stores online and has been available at Officemax.
